The WT-N6 battery model name, printed in full as SCUD-WT-N6, is the 4000 mAh, 3.82 V pack that listings give to the Samsung Galaxy A10s and Galaxy A20s. That is why searches for "samsung a20s battery model name" and "a20s battery model name" lead here.

Most Samsung phones use EB-B codes, such as EB-BA217ABY. The A10s and A20s were made with an outside battery supplier, SCUD, so their pack carries that supplier's code instead. It is still a genuine Samsung part, with service numbers such as GH81-17587A in some listings.

Why the code says SCUD and not EB

Samsung buys batteries from several makers. Packs made in house or to Samsung's main design carry EB-B codes. For some budget phones, an outside maker such as SCUD supplied the whole pack, and its own part code went on the label. WT-N6 is SCUD's code. You may also see the same battery called "Scud WT-N6" or listed with a QL1695 style code for other models, which is a different supplier's naming.

WT-N6 battery model name on the A10s and A20s

Searches for "wt n6 battery model name" and "samsung a20s battery model name" both arrive at this pack. Some sellers write it as SCUD WT-N6, some as Scud-WT-N6, some simply as WT-N6. All three refer to the same part. What matters is the phone: a Galaxy that identifies itself as SM-A107 or SM-A207 takes this pack.

4000 or 3900 mAh

Samsung advertised 4000 mAh for the A10s and A20s, and most WT-N6 listings print that. One replacement listing shows 3900 mAh, which fits as the minimum value. At 3.82 V, 4000 mAh stores about 15.3 Wh. A WT-N6 claiming 5000 mAh would not fit the A20s frame honestly.

Replacing the pack

On the A10s and A20s, a plastic rear panel snaps and sticks onto the frame. A Samsung service centre can fit an original part by quoting the SM model number. Independent shops sell OEM-style packs; check that the label reads SCUD-WT-N6 with 3.82 V and a batch code.

The A10s and A20s are older phones, and many of their cells have swollen. A back that has popped open along one side is the classic sign. Unplug the phone, do not clip the back shut again, and have the cell removed.

Keeping an A20s going with a fresh WT-N6

For basic calling, chat and video, a fresh 4000 mAh pack makes an A20s usable for another year or two. The phone's 15 W charging fills it in about two hours. If apps have become slow or updates have ended for your needs, put the money towards a newer Galaxy instead; the Samsung and Motorola index lists packs for newer models.

Reading the WT-N6 label

A genuine pack shows SCUD and WT-N6 together, the 3.82 V nominal voltage, a 4.4 V charge limit, the capacity and certification marks such as BIS for India. If the label only says "for Samsung A20s", it is a generic copy. Our label reading walkthrough shows where each line usually sits.
